A free Cancer detection and awareness camp
A free Cancer detection and awareness camp was organized at Ashram premises in the collaboration with Rotary Club of Porbandar, Jain Social Group, Indian Medical Association and M.P.Shah Cancer Hospital Ahmedabad on date 17.02.2019, Sunday. Total 69 patients registered their names. (46F, 23M) in the camp. Out of 46 female patients 02 were diagnosed for cancer through Mammography and 02 for Pap smear (Gynec. terminology). Out of 23 Male patients 06 were referred to GCRI. They will be followed up regularly by M.P.Shah Cancer hospital Ahmedabad. Many renowned doctors and dignitaries of Porbandar gave their honorary service. It was second time ever in Porbandar and was welcomed by citizens.
National Youth Day Programme 2019
The Statue of Swamiji was Garlanded by Ashram inmates.( At Ashram premises) Youth wing of Porbandar BJP also garlanded the Statue of Swami Vivekananda. A prize distribution ceremony was held on 12th January,2019, National Youth Day in connection with different competitions like elocution, speech, essay, Vichar prachar pariksha on Swami Vivekanandaji's life etc. held in ashram premises.

Free General Medical Camp
A free General Medical Camp was organized on 15th July 2018 Sunday in our ashram premises in collaboration with Rotary Club of Porbandar and Shri Jaydev Unadkat (a renowned IPL Cricketer) and family. 409 patients were screened and treated as per details shown below. The Patients were given medicine free of cost. All well-known doctors of Porbandar gave their free service in the camp.

National Youth Day Programme 2017
t was a first time in Porbandar a special programme in collaboration with Rotaract Club (Youth wing of Rotary Club) Porbandar was held on 12th January. A Run for youth was organized in the early morning at 7.30 am. There was two different routes for boys and Girls in city. Starting and ending point was chowpaty Hathi ground. Flag was given by Shri Ajay Unadkat, an eminent Indian team cricketer from Porbandar. About 1200 boys and girls from standard 10th to college, with dignitaries of Porbandar took part. After the run a special meeting was held on same ground. Special message for youth was given by all the guest and me.Short life of Swami Vivekananda book was distributed to all participants and Guest. Winners of Run were given prizes in the forms of shields and books of Swamiji. Statue of Swamiji was Garlanded by Ashram inmates.( At Ashram premises) Youth wing of Porbandar BJP also garlanded the Statue of Swami Vivekananda, Shaktidayi Vichar, and other booklets was distributed by them to business people and students. A prize distribution ceremony was held on 12th January National Youth Day evening at 4.30pm in connection with different competitions like elocution, speech, essay, Vichar prachar pariksha on Swami Vivekanandaji's life etc. and ashram sports for coaching centre and GAP students was held in ashram premises.

International Yoga Day 2016, was celebrated at Ashrama.
Free Cancer detection and awareness camp
A free Cancer detection and awareness camp was held at Ashram premises on date 5.06.2016, Sunday in collaboration with Rotary Club of Porbandar, Indian Medical Association and M.P.Shah Cancer Hospital Ahmedabad.256 patients registered their names.135 (68F, 67M) patients turned up in the camp. Out of 68 female patients 15 were diagnosed for cancer through Mammography and 56 for Pap smear (Gynec. terminology). Out of 67 Male patients 14 were diagnosed for Mouth cancer. An awareness exhibition for cancer and video show was also organised. They will be followed up regularly by M.P.Shah Cancer hospital through civil hospital of Porbandar. Many renowned doctors and dignitaries of Porbandar gave their honorary service. It was first time ever in Porbandar and was welcomed by citizens.

Relief and Rehabilitations Work
Wherever there is any disaster of any kind anywhere, the monks of Ramakrishna Mission rush to the place of disaster and immediately start primary relief work which is mostly followed by rehabilitation projects. True to this tradition, cyclone relief work, drought relief work and earthquake relief work were carried out on a huge scale as per details given earlier.
Relief and welfare activities, on 21st & 22nd February, 2015
As a part of ashram's relief and welfare activities, on 21st & 22nd February, 2015, 400 Ration Kits were distributed among distressed people of Village: Bhod, Adityana and Tumbada. We distributed to about 2080 beneficiaries, 400 families. The following materials were distributed:

As a part of Swamiji's 150 Birth Anniversary, and under relief and welfare activities, on 20-1-2014 Ration kits were distributed among distressed people of Village: Adityana and Tumbda. We distributed to about 1000 beneficiaries, about 200 families. The following materials were distributed.

Vivekananda Rath Yatra 2013
We organised a Vivekananda Rath Yatra on 7th to 9th August,2013 at Porbandar. A decorated Rath with a beautiful image of Swamiji prepared by our Rajkot Ramakrishna Ashrama came to Porbandar on 7th afternoon at Ashrama premises. Boys and girls of our GAP and Free Coaching Centre and devotees welcomed the Rath. The Rath also visited V.R.Godhaniya College on 8th August, morning 8.00 to 12.00. About 3000 students with college staff members, their trustees took part in the cultural programme. Rath also visited M.D.Science College Campus from 2.00 to 5.00 pm. About 800 students with their staff welcomed Rath. A cultural programme was also held. Swamis of Rajkot Ashrama and of Porbandar Ashrama gave their speeches. During Rath Yatra, an exhibition on Swami Vivekananda life was also organized. On 9th August, after visiting a few places in city, Rath departed to Rajkot Ashrama. We organized a Teachers Orientation Seminar on 9th August,2013 for our SGVEP teachers at our Ashrama's VIVEK Hall. About 50 teachers participated. Swamiji's books, Mementos, certificates were given to them.

Public Meeting
On 24th March 2013 we arranged a public meeting in context with Swami Vivekananda's 150th Birth anniversry. Shri Dhirendra Mehta our ashram's Managing Committee President presided the function. Swami Nikhileswaranandaji, Vadodara and Swami Sarvasthanandaji, Rajkot addressed public on life & Message of Swami Vivekananda according to present context. About 100 devotees took part.

On 25th Feb 2013 we organised a Youth Shibir in context with Swami Vivekananda's 150th Birth anniversary. About 200 youth ,boys & girls from different colleges of porbandar took part. Swami Nikhileswaranandaji ,Vadodara and Swami Sarvasthanandaji, Rajkot delivered speeches and advised youths to walk on the path traced by Swamiji.
